The starting material changes the process
Fresh-frozen material is frozen soon after harvest to preserve the plant in its fresh state before washing. Cured material is dried and cured before processing.
Either approach can produce a compelling concentrate. The cultivar, resin quality, handling, separation, pressing, and storage all matter.
Texture is not a grade
Cold cure, fresh press, jam, and other textures describe processing or consistency. They can help set expectations for handling, but appearance alone does not prove purity or quality.
Use recent photos, storage guidance, batch details, and laboratory documentation together when evaluating a release.
Protect the product after delivery
Avoid repeated warming and cooling. Keep containers sealed and follow the producer’s storage guidance. A small amount allowed to reach the recommended serving temperature is easier to handle than repeatedly exposing the full jar.
