It is an informal quality shorthand
Six-star is a community term, not a regulated laboratory grade. It is commonly used for exceptionally clean full-melt hash that leaves very little residue under suitable conditions.
Because the term is subjective, it is most useful when paired with transparent processing details, close photography, and clear batch identification.
Do not confuse quality language with potency
Melt behavior, aroma, cleanliness, texture, and cannabinoid content describe different characteristics. A single number or star label cannot summarize all of them.
Laboratory reports can document tested analytes for a submitted sample, while the producer’s batch information explains origin and handling.
